@orangemustang how much did that 6-speed swap cost you? debating a tko-600 vs a 6-speed along with my engine build this summer...

@mgmuscari it was about $4000.00 but i got it from a buddy and it was slightly used. it has a lakewood bell housing and a custom drive shaft (turbo 400 yoke with the ford rear peice) and a custom cross member. the tranny is actually not even for a ford. as far as i know im one of the very few that have done this. BUT i recomend it lol.

@orangemustang like i said i bought the kit from a buddy didnt really have to do much. BUT my first choice was to go withthe t56 conversion its an excelent choice. they hold lots of power and you can probly use your speedo cable lol. i havent had my speedo cable hooked up in 2 years.

@orangemustang heh, that's about what i thought you'd say... i could go with a t-56, but i think i'd have to step down from a dart shp block to a reconditioned factory block. guess i'll stick with the tko-600 (the block seems more important to me, at least for now). thanks for your reply
