  • What the heck is "join" and why are we always clicking it?

  • @quillaja its a pretty quirky thing in lightworks. if you drag something on the timeline you sometimes have to click it or it will screw the whole thing up. IDK, its a pain haha

  • there's no all clips forward shortcut like other NLEs? Or close gap option?

  • @psynema nah, I haven't found one yet...

  • Thanks to your tutorials, dawn is starting to break for me with Lightworks!

Looking forward to the next installments

  • @georgiahoosier Heh, heh. Awesome mate, glad you're enjoying them... 2 more tomorrow

  • These videos are making me like lightworks

  • I cant click and drag! help! whats happening!?

  • @quillaja when you drag a clip to the timeline you are just "laying down the video" and then you click join to make them one. kinda like when they used to edit film reels they had to atatch them together, not just put the next to each other.

  • Instead of clicking delete wherever you want to remove something, you can click 'in' where you want to start cutting and 'out' or 'delete' where you want the cutting to end. This method does not leave a gap on the timeline. This can also be done to get rid of gaps already on the timeline.

  • Can't you hit a button to get rid of a gap? It would not work very well on a long project to be sliding everything around manually

  • It doesn't look very efficient. Kind of quirky and odd methods. I know, I know... It's free, what do you expect. lol!

  • if only video editing programs were made to work as easily as audio editing programs..
