  • the uk has changed their order to a CATBAR design and that will operate the F35C

  • Re-flagging some Nimitz classes for the UK is a good idea as it gives us a carrier capability until 2020 when the QE class comes out.

  • @pmccullo123 The Nimitz Class is getting old... that's why they're building the Gerald Ford Class. Yes though it would be a good idea for the UK and the US to work together on a Naval Project... can you imagine what we could make!!!

  • @pmccullo123. and scrounge of the US? there is a reason they are being put out of service by america.

  • Less Money for the NHS!!!!

  • Guess what... spending not needed. U.S. needs to dump some extra aircraft carriers which are perfectly capable of carrying these aircraft types. Save some money ... for both the U.S. and the U.K. Retire 2 U.S. aircraft carriers and reflag them for the U.K.

  • NAVY was my dream... be a navy pilot... it never will be, but dream will be alive.
