hi there ! just wanna ask if the life span of water washable cliche shorter than those cliches that use chemicals or acid

Hi, Water washable polymer plates have a shorter life than acid etched metal ones. It really depends on how many prints you require and whether you can justify the high cost for metal cliches. Polymer water washable cliches are good for about 2000 prints. I have never used polymer plates which are washed by any other means other than water. I hope this helps. Jeff.

Rule no 1: Use gloves! The exposure liquid aint healthy! Dont you etch the plates with etch liquid?

Hi,
Thanks for your post. However, we do not use any dangerous liquids to etch cliches so there is no question about health issues. The cliches which we use are water washable and not the other variety which use etching liquids.
You may note that we do use gloves when we need to - see when mixing inks section. I hope this addresses your concerns about health and safety issues.
