An extraordinary ballad from an extra ordinary group and singer. I remember my junior year at Syracuse Univ in 1978, when this album came out, as if it was yesterday. The album "Streetplayer" helped me get through my junior year in college - It was that good. And this song is the heart and soul of the album in my opinion. I remember the instrumental finale beginning at @3:40 as a classic interlude. This song belongs to the ages. Thanks so much for bringing it to the masses via YouTube.

I was 6 yrs old when this song came out and my mama bought this album and i recall her playing this song repeatedly... now i'm grown and doing it all over again. Die hard Chaka Khan fan here ! :)

Many ppl sleep on this song, but I think that it was one of Rufus' better songs. I remember my mom would play this record when she was braiding my hair and putting cornrows in them. Man, they don't make music like this anymore!
