@trapadoored I liked Double Dare and all the old games shows. Although, I didn't like Eureka's Castle. I miss Nickleodeon, but Mr. Wizard was before my time.

maybe I wasn't. Nickelodeon sucked back then. Stuff like Double Dare and You Can't So That on Television and Mr. Wizard bored the crap out of me. (although Danger Mouse and Dukula were pretty cool)

@trapadoored I'm sure you were not the only one.

-and the new years count down was great too. I actually loved when it took over nickelodeon and noick at nite was on all day. I was probably the only kid who actually liked nick at nite better than nickelodeon.

Nick at Nite now shows reruns that you can find on other channels... I was hoping TV Land would show all the Nick at Nite Classics, but that's rare to find any classic shows on there... We need a Nick Rewind channel with classic Nick and Nick at Nite!

Back when Nick at Nite was classic....

You have to consider the intellectual property rights to using tv shows, then shows that have music tracks in them.
Example: The show All That has a musical guest singer at the end of the shows and All That does air on TeenNick these days (Mid 2011). The music performance is cut off and commercials are extended.

They REALLY need to bring these shows back. I LOVED watching all the OLD classics!
@maccafan1974 I agree its not the same. I grew up in the 1970s-80s (born 1969) watching syndicated reruns of all sorts of classic tv shows on the living room 25 inch color tv (the only tv we had in the house, unlike today where people practically have a tv in each and every room), and a part of me does indeed sometimes miss sitting in that living room watching them on the the old rabbit eared antenna tv (no cable tv back then), with commercial interruptions. :-)

@classicphile I agree on the DVDS and internet a little. But, it's not the same. I had fond memories of watching NIck at Nite with my father back in the 80's and 90's. Those were my best memories! RIP Dad.
