@Kaskade2009 I think that people who adopt should do it because they want a child, not because they want to do a charitable thing. As an adoptee myself random strangers have told my parents what great people they are for adopting me. It really makes me feel inferior and like a commodity. It's like they're saying to me, "You should be grateful to your adoptive parents because without them you would've been worthless. The only reason you are alive is because of them." Makes you feel small.

The very harsh and yet sweet bottom line is that Madonna was saving another child. It's part of charity. She's given so much. Something tells me the people who sit on their asses criticizing Madonna, don't give charity themselves. Or do they? She's doing meaningful things with the amount of money she has. Would the haters be happier if Madonna sat on her money and collect every penny like many other celebrities? What do people really have against her? It's a wider issue, really. :)
