I would think that you would want to tether the ipad and see the photos on a bigger screen. I did that with the sony tablet PC tethered it put it in a small back pack, slung it on my back and took photos of my subject in the studio but before I did all this I setup a network path between my tablet to my PC that has the 46 in screen, the PC will be running lightroom. I use the canon program to transfer the photos to the PC and will automatically show up in lightroom on the PC
This isn't really wireless since you are connected to your computer. Try searching for this method "How to Directly Tether Your Camera To an Ipad"
