@sinksinmud123 no. first, they are icelandic. second, their music holds no religious value, due to frankly, the lack of lyrics. although they are ICELANDIC and some of their songs are sung in ICELANDIC, most of their songs, are sung in a made up language called HOPELANDIC, which is basically just a language of vocal sounds and rhythms, no words. And if your new to Sigur Ros, I suggest you check out more of their stuff like "Andvari", "Festival", "Gong", "Staralfur", "Svefn G Englar" etc. Cheers.
