Hi there, tgiff -at least here in Japan- and it's UPLOAD time! Here is our new collab on another track from the beloved "Images And Words" album. DT covers are always so much fun for me, they bring me back to my early years in Japan when I was part of a DT tribute band... And here again It was tremendous fun to get to collaborate with musicians of such stratospheric skills! Please check out their channels! More DT covers coming up in the (hopefully near) future!

Special thanks to Paco for inviting me to this cool project!

  • the singer is awesome, but should no try to imitate labrie's. I mean, he's shaved just like him

  • @elbrownyyy

You're right, I also have the same underwear, I'll make a note to use something different... Just kidding... Man, this has been my look for so many years now.. Hell, maybe he is imitating me? ;-) Cheers.

  • guitar = fail from the first note. NO STRATS ALLOWED!

  • @gtrslinger

And your comment is pure fail from the very first character. Intolerance should never be allowed. Cheers.

  • players are way to stiff like robots! put some real feeling into it instead of just playing the notes

  • @richardkaneferguson

To me what you call "real feelings" would be more appropriate for a music like blues... DT stuff is highly technical, how do you expect such music not to sound slightly mechanical and players not to look stiff at times? Just need to see DT live to understand this. BTW, I looove your "just playing the notes". A simple and imperfect cover like this one takes a lot of time, efforts.. and passion. Cheers.

  • This is so great! All the guys are really talented

  • Just a great cover! Keep going guys!

    Cheers from the Netherlands

  • @gtrslinger Maybe Strats are not ideal for metal, but I personally think it sounds great, annd I don't think you should have any kind of "policy" regarding that. If it sounds good, it sounds good.

  • Screw the haters. This is brilliant, guys!

  • why should he NOT? seems like he his having a good time

  • I just watched this! Amazing vocals again, J.C.! You really enjoy from your heart singing Dream Theater, my friend! Fantastic musicianship by everybody too!

  • Guys @ 2:35 - 2:43 that chord progression, the combination of all instrs and even the edit was perfect - puts a shiver down my spine. It's a detail I like even more than in the original version. Well, maybe it just sounds kinda fresher to me after listening to the DT's version over the years. Still, it's amazing. Oh... here it comes again... 3:26 - 3:33 Fantastic!

  • cool dt rules

  • the singer is the bigest DT fan u can tell he wants to look like james L lol. great job guys

  • Hey guys, Just don't give a crap about the haters. I think you guys did a great job. And if the guitarist can pull off this song using even a ukulele then that should be the way to do it man.
