Bret Hart posted the following on his Facebook page:

"One of the most enjoyable aspects of returning to WWE and doing various appearances on Monday Night Raw these past couple of months has been meeting and working with the guest hosts. It was great seeing William Shatner, Carl Edwards, and Jerry Springer, who signed his action figure for me, but I have to admit that the biggest thrill was to finally meet my teenage heroes, Cheech and Chong. I finally met up with them immediately following the "Divas Pillow Fight" when their heart rates had just started to come down (not so easy when you're watching the likes of Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox battling in their pajamas). I was surprised to hear Tommy Chong recall, in detail, his fond memories of Stampede Wrestling. Chong, who was Calgary-born and bred, took me back when he said "I used to watch you when I was a kid." I thought to myself "C'mon, give me a break." Maybe my dad or my older brothers, but not likely me. The more we spoke, I realized that it wasn't impossible that this one-time Calgary-kid managed to blend in with the local throngs of fans who once sat riveted to their benches taking in the world's best pro wrestling at that time. The more we chatted, the more I understood that he was telling the truth. He had in fact showed up, probably incognito, to watch me thump "The Stomper" or Bad News Allen once upon at time. It's a satisfying feeling to know that while I was listening to and seeing my heroes for all those years, that he was also watching me back then. Very cool!

  • vince mcmahon is a number 1 villain!! he should be in comic books!!

  • Watch Bret Harts promos and interviews from 1997 real believable and lots of passion in them. None of that in his 2010 run. I love Bret Hart but WWE sucks so much now that not even Bret Hart, The Rock, or Steve Austin can save them.

  • i was there

  • YOU'RE A COWARD

  • the best part about this was they used brets legendary music

  • He walks like a man that just spent some time in jail and had a lot of "admirers"LOL

  • @WeNeedSomeGolfShoes Well if u dont know, Bret suffered the stroke, his left hand is frozen, he cant even open te doors with it

  • That remember me the royal rumble when he finish equal with Lex Luger... his not very good to fake a leg broken, but in the ring he's definitly the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.......except for Taker!

  • This is kinda of an awkward promo! Why is Bret doing this? It just makes him look silly!

  • i just wish they didn't make the fake stuff so OBVIOUS.... anyone who has seen a real broken leg knows that if you stand up with a broken leg, blood builds up in your toes and they turn purple.... and the way he used the crutch is obvious too that it's fake.
