We spent the evening working out the first live images from space using the Celestron 11" HD telescope and the Mallincam CCD video camera.

This is a video of the monitor that was displaying the image from the Mallincam. In the near future we will capture .avi files directly from the camera using a DAZZLE video capture device and a video enhancer for the best quality imaging. This camera can extend exposures as long as we want. The trick is to make sure the telescope tracks the object perfectly. This was a great result for the first night.

Look out for Nibiru Tracker 2012. I will show you comet Elenin as soon as we have the right viewing window to capture it with this equipment. It can be done easily with this set up if only the operators can get it working well enough to do it.

Thank you for viewing.

Ok. Here's how you connect to the live feed. It's through NSN Night Skies Network. It is a whole bunch of people who do live feeds from their telescopes. (YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THIS SITE) if you didn't know about it already.

You have to register for free to see the feeds. They keep out trolls. DO NOT TROLL!

See you later!

NSN (Night Skies Network)

Register and then sign in and go to the network of live feeds. You will see a LONG LIST of names. Those are all the individual feeds. usually at least one feed is going at all time.

News I am interested in include the SUPER MOON coming March 19, 2011. This SUPER MOON occurs at perigee which it the closest the Moon comes to Earth during its orbital path around us.

The best way to know the information and to feel secure is to research more of the right information to help you through the changes in Earth science, Astronomy of the Day and galactic alignments that create events here on Earth.

  • So now that you have the mallincam and the hyperstar, what are your thoughts? I have an older Mallincam hyper color (non+) and am saving up for a hyperstar setup. Have you used the hyperstar with the mallincam yet, or did I miss it? Thanks, -A.

  • @ourobouros2k2 We have not used the Hyperstar yet. We will once the telescope is on the permanent pier of the observatory. We wish you a Merry Christmas!

  • It sure hasn't been YOUR last time, and look at all the negative comments you have been getting. You post crap like this all the time? You have to rely on your kids technological prowess to figure out this dang-fangled new computer stuff? I bet you needed help with putting the wires to your computer when you first got it (even though it's probably color coded). It should have been your first (and last time) looking at that blank monitor.

  • @sp00nman88 Good bye! Thanks for being the crap we have to shit every morning. ~F.

  • dumbass

  • @sp00nman88 Who, me? If it's me then you got your one insult in. I leave them up. If a second one comes in... well... then... maybe it will be your last time. Thanks! ~ F.
