Hey Dude Vinny was using the Aquarian Vinny Appice Signature Snare Head, Which was a Coated 7.5mil 1ply Head with a muffling ring tucked under the edge of the head with a white powerdot on top which is not longer made since he switched over to Evans, the closest thing to it would be an Aquarian Coated Stuido-X
The Toms are Aquarian's Classic Clear Series Single Ply With Powerdot on top, Ressonate heads are Classic Clears again but just clear single ply

This special heavy- "laid back time-feel" of Vinnie is unbelievable. It sounds/feels like a lava-stream moving. I know not one drummer in the world with this MIGHTY ability. Marvelous! Many drummer rule by playing laid back in a kind of jazzy-style or maybe Carter Beauford-style. But Vinnie does it totally different - in his own way. Brilliant!
