@Jzend001 With intuitive eating and learning what foods were the best for my body... yes I did. If you use intuitive eating with nothing but processed and junk food; then I don't think you'd lose weight; maintain maybe.

Yes, overall intuitive eating will lead to weight loss. (Unless the majority of the food is junk and high calorie.) Generally speaking if you are eating to 80% full and waiting until you are physically hungry again; you will lose weight effortlessly.
Then adding in exercise you love.... you will have a lifestyle that you can keep up the rest of your life.
I believe that learning how to eat intuitively is perfect for anyone who has struggled with emotional or binge eating.

hi. i have a question. does intutive/non-emotional eating really lead to weight loss? ive been overweight all my life. i weighed 200 lbs in middle school and i was 250 lbs in high school. right now im 21 (female) and i weigh 230 lbs. ive tried every diet and still stayed unhappy and fat. ive been trying this intuitive eating thing for a few days and its so nice to not have the guilty feelings anymore, but will it actually lead to weight loss?
I loved your advice about getting up and moving around when you feel emotionally stuck in one place (depression after a binge); I also liked what you said about getting the "outsider" view of the negative thoughts you write down. That motivates me to actually write these things down- it must be worth it! Thanks for posting. :)

Hey Stefanie! Could you do an inspirational video on never giving up??? It takes soooo long to overcome life-long habits!!! How long did it take you to master these habits? How often did you binge in the first place and how badly? Looking for some hope :) Thanks!

It's so true, probably one of the top 3 things that would manage to tear me down, again and again.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll remember it.

@ReillyAJ You are so welcome sweetie! I know how devastating it is after a binge... the most important thing is to get into a better state; and move forward. ((huggs))
