Well. I long-forgot about this comment. ANd I feel just as exasperated as expected. Thank you for having to say that for me. But check it out. WE were the fucking morons and the scourge of the earth in 2008. And in 2012, we will once AGAIN be the scourge of the earth. Ignorance always outnumbers truth.
The one thing I keyed on is is this: The only thing that makes them feel justified is the # of like people that drivel the same nonsense.

The problem is the outdated US Constitution, which elects the head of state through an electoral college lottery. Instead of having a two-tier election in which the final two vote getters square off in a final runoff, the current system perpetuates the corrupt two party duopoly. That said - fuck the "founding fathers!" Their elitist distrust of popular democracy now lingers in the form of a backward, electoral college, which resigns the the voter to cast his ballot for either a whore or a thief!

You're right. They've learnt from Vietnam what triggered the anti war movement by people being against calls for a draft.
People will suddenly stand up if we are directly affected by the war on terror in having to be drafted to the war in Afghanistan & pakistan which Obama & McCain call for.
