  • so true- I don't consider any orders that don't wear the habit. It is a symbol of compliance to tradition which I deem as being crucial- especially if I am to spend my life with these women... I hate to say it but its almost harder to take them seriously when they choose to wear secular clothes...I can't help but feel that they are too liberal ...

  • the reason there are fewer women entering , is becuase of the age restrictions most have , and the lack of wearing a habit.......the habit is important ......i would never consider a community that dosent wear the habit ...how do you take a vow of poverty when you have a closet full of clothes .......once the habit is gone , it opens the door to other external values and temptations....

  • Asking if habit was an "obstacle" was a bit crude; like soldiers, religious are set apart for a reason and need to be recognized. They're few in number because they're bucking the trend; the world and the devil want to "liberate" them to make money, lead immoral lives (and then abort their children), lose their Faith, and then go to Hell. They've chosen, by God's grace, a wiser path.

  • Maybe the lack of women means that in general they are coming into their power and refusing to be cowtowed by a controlling external authority that denegrates their true position.

  • @Taharah007 even if they refuse to open their m8inds to other possibilitys it is them who will be stuk wondering around the afterlife, not you,, BUT it seems to me that u are beiong JUST as close minded,, we wll have our own truths,, NO ONE has the RIGHT to try to take away the free will of another! if u do u are JUST as bad ,, if not worse in ur actions than they are to you !!! remeber when u point ur finger u have 3 pointing back at u!!! love and accept,, unconditonal love n light is teh key

  • @Taharah007 so what u r saying is u are right n they are wrong?? u sound just like them,, everyone is able to have their OWN relationship 2 god,, regardless of hopw simple or bad YOU think it is!!! THIS IS THE PROBLEM,, u are judging them 4 judging others !!! i have a VERY diffrent veiw,,as a matter of fact i am a channeler so i get it worst fropm teh catholic church,,, they see me as a woprshiper and caller of demonds,, but i know what ?? at least they are TRULY following what they believe,,

  • little sisters of the poor... why dont u recognise my charity case,,,ohh come over her n sit on my face ,,, lil sisters of the poor,,, tell big sister stay at home,, my spinal crackled when she jumped on my bone,, ohh she gushed then she screamed n moaned,,, lil sisters of the poor... lil sisters of the poor,,, why dont u recognise my charity case.,, ohh come over here n sit on my face,, lil sisters of the poor

  • I pray they will find the TRUE GOD of creation ...YESHUA is His Holy Name...and stop breaking the commandment that forbids prayer to other "dieties" like Miriam, the vessel that brought the Messiah Yeshua into the world. I do believe these little nuns are innocent of all their church's evil deeds and will eventually find GOD.
