I happen to love reading history. Funny, I can't think of a single instance of a nation staging an attack on itself in order to garner support from allies for an invasion. Oh yeah, that's because it would have been impossible without a United Nations or NATO. I challenge you to name one instance that even compares to your little paranoia induced conspiracy crap.

ok - lets see - just scratching the surface here - Hitler burning down his own parliament (Reichstag fire) and blaming it on communists to install himself as dictator - ultimately leading to war - Pearl harbour after the Japanese were antagonized for years to draw them into a war (it wasn't a surprise to the people in the know - the question was what took them so long) - the Lusitannia conveniently put in harms way which led to a war - and this is just the twentieth century....
