This is my final review of my Sig Sauer P226 Tactical Operation (Tac Ops). I would buy this gun again but I would not trust it until it was been well broke in.

Sigs quality control was went down and I've already had the gun back to Sig twice. All the issues seem to be worked out now.

Do not trust the Made in the USA magazines.

  • After your experience if you could only choose one pistol which would you recommend the Sig p226 or the Glock 20? Great vids btw :)

  • @TheSkundar That's just not a fair choice, lol. Both are great. I prefer 9mm for training and my normal EDC but the G20 is a great occasional carry but it's crazy fun to shoot. ..if you can afford to feed it. I think you have to own both or at lest some variation of the 9mm for carry and training. The G20 should just be in everyone's collection.

  • @TheSkundar Well if they are the same caliber then I'd have to go with a Sig. I like my Glock but the Sigs are just more accurate for me.

  • great review. but it hink its where you buy your guns

  • @ilandgeek What do you mean? If you mean the higher cost, then yeah I agree. I can usually find just about every gun I've bought cheaper but this shop has a one year layaway. Every time I buy a new gun, I put another on layaway. Although I've never usually wait more than 3 months to pick them up, it's nice to have that cushion just in case something goes wrong in life. I know I could just save and buy cheaper but there's no fun in that. :0) Thanks for watching.

  • When I watched your first video of this gun, you pulled the slide off without decocking the hammer. As soon as I saw that I said to myself, he's going to bend that trigger bar, and now your doing a vid about it. You have to decock the gun before you pull the slide off on all Sigs with a SRT trigger, it's in the manual.

  • @RamminIt When Sig watched my video when I had the problem, they told me everything was fine and they didn't know why it bent.

  • @wolvee123 You are certainly right but lets say they were both the same caliber which pistol would you rather have? :o)

  • @wolvee123 i meant because of all the different problems you've had with the guns because my dad has the same and he still uses the factory tac ops mags. higher price for less quality item isn't worth it to me. i know they're all the same gun but some gunshops get the overstock. and wanna raise the price. buy them online freind

  • Sad man. That prooves the G. Carlin's bit, god bless his soul, : "can't make tv or vcr worth a fuck, but we can fuck'n bumb you allright". I'm an immigrant, and it make me sad that I can be less and less proud of my new country. Corporate greed will destroy this glorious nation some day:(

  • Nice review. It make me think twice before buying the US made Sig. Love Tacops version though. Naybe I'll by a german Sig and megwell grips/mec gar mags separately

  • @wolvee123

First off, who at Sig watched your video, a customer service rep? It definitely wasn't an armorer, they would've noticed you not decocking the pistol right away. Secondly, I specifically asked a gun smith why we need to decock the hammer when removing the slide and he said that the trigger bar could get bent if you don't. I do agree with you on the mags though, they suck.
