General Hospital -1983 Monica Argues with Alan about Jason 1

It's 1983 and Alan has brought Jason to the mansion with the intention of keeping him there. Monica is angry and refuses to have Jason in the same house as she and Alan Jr. (AJ). When Monica counters that she'll move out, Alan calls her bluff. Monica takes AJ to the gatehouse where Jimmy Lee is staying...and tries to kick Jimmy Lee out. While Monica is throwing his luggage down the stairs, the social worker comes and assumes AJ is Jason...

This obviously occurs before Monica bonds with Jason which happens sometime later that year.

Well, she does eventually love Jason as her own...  It's a lot to ask somebody to raise her husband and his mistress' son. LOL Within a few months of these scenes, Monica really softens towards Jason.

i was not born when this aired. who is jason's real mother and what's the story behind that? i always thought they both adopted him. also i can't believe monica is acting a fool when aj is not alan's real son- he's rick webber's.

Actually, AJ was Alan's son. They all thought he was Rick's but it was proved that Alan was the father. Jason's biological mother was Susan Moore. She and Alan had an affair in 1980/81. Alan set her up in a cottage close to the Q mansion. She was later murdered (I've posted that storyline already) when she attempted to blackmail the Quartermaines.

@TheLovely155 Jason was the son of Alan Quartermaine and Susan Moore, but she died when Jason was a baby so the only mother that Jason ever really knows is Monica. She adopted him around 1983 after Susan died. Officially he was born Jason Moore, then it became Jason Morgan Quartermaine when Monica officially adopts him, of course now it's Jason Morgan since he dropped the Q last name and kept Morgan as a way of honoring Lila, his grandmother.
