  • do you only ride english or do you ride western to

  • @horselover9977 Only English - I fall right out of western saddles because they are so big I can't feel what the horse is doing.

  • is that a training bridle on him? a training bridle has these little keys on it which made my colt get used to the bridle - but she swallowed one of the keys by mistake LOL

  • It's a regular bridle, but he didn't seem to mind it at all.

  • it looks like it needs to be a little bit tighter...

  • you have some really cute vids! pls continue posting a ton!!!

  • @jamiemcneill lol I'm the oposite. I ride western because I feel more balanced than I do in and English saddle. There just isn't enough saddle for me with an english xD To eaches own i guess.

  • Getting a bridle must be like the turning point between childhood and adulthood for a horse, like when a kid learns that he has to get a job. :P

  • hez like mom help me help me!!

  • LOL what the hell is in my mouth

  • a full cheek is great for riding, but when I used one for the same purpose for my colt, (now 13) he managed to try to rub on me and got the bottom cheek piece caught on my shirt, spooking him and tearing my sleeve. I use D's eggbutts or loose rings for that purpose now.

  • Adorable!!!!

  • @hhhgfgyffyugvs Depends on the horse aye... I've seen horses misbehave like crazy in a strong bit and then turn into angels with a soft bit. My horse pulls like crazy in a gag, but looooves her plastic happy mouth. You're better off asking an experienced friend or instructor, as the problem may not necessarily be the bit, and no one can tell without seeing the horse ;)

  • Ugh, used a rubber bit when I was mouthing my boy and he manged to get it between his teeth and chew almost right through it!
