  • Love this music , is terrible!!!!!and Mr. John Williams is the master!!!!

  • To fully appreciate this film, one must compare it to the abortion of a remake, which was so CGI laden that the audience was disengaged from the story. Kurt Russell himself, in an interview, made subtle jabs at the film being less interested in characters and more interested in special effects. The original uses practical effects, has real characters whose suffering and loss is truly felt, and just works as a great early 70s adventure.

  • They really "don't make em like this anymore"! Too bad. What an epic!

  • After the wave goes over the ship?

It look's soo sad laying there on her side.

you just wanna somehow get into the movie and right her again.

the guy that played that Greek guy in the bridge making trouble?

id have taken him out big time and let leslie Nielson continue command.

  • this Score is incredibly moving. you see the remaining passenger's coming to the shaft alley and they hear noise from outside, and you see a sigh of relaif in thier face's. they'd lost the other's getting there and now thier about to be free and no more danger.

This is one of , if not THEE best disster film that Irwin Allan made.

theres nothing hokey or made up about it,

it's right there and in your face at all time's.

    Incredible Film.

  • Well done!

  • While this is a typically good score by Williams, it kind of reminds me of John Barry in style, which is a compliment to both composers. You can hear distinctive elements of both their styles in the main theme. It's just the kind of film music that enchances the film and that you remember when you leave the cinema.

  • This is a hard one to find nowadays, fetches for up to 100 bucks on ebay :/

  • The Screenplay was written by Stirling Silliphant. It:s such a page turner, it almost reads like a very tight novel.

  • LOVE THE MUSIC...SO AWSOME!!!
