The half-life of Tc99m is 6 hours, so 1 day later (= 4 half-life periods of Tc99m), should show max a 1/16 of the original value, etc.
Thus, the initial activity (dose) was quite high, but rapidly decreased to immeasurable values...
So the activity (dose), will be after:
00 h = 1 (100%)
24 h = 0.063 (~6%)
48 h = 0.0039 (~0.4%)
72 h = 0.00025 (~0.03%)
96 h = 0.000016 (~0.002%)
etc.
BTW: the true dose is reduced even faster — because the Tc99(m) is removed from the body in a urine

This is a great little video. We are now giving patients the Sodium Fluoride (Naf) injections & scanning them in the PET scanner in place of Technetium. The Naf is only takes 90 minutes from injection to end of study. Much higher sensitivity & specificity for numerous studies including bony mets evaluation. It's done on a PET camera which replaces this 1970's Tcm99 study. Please research this, it's beneficial.
