This is a lil song from the heart...going out to those who have lost loved ones....We recently lost a friend here, Ed Muirton, and in my many ponders surrounding that loss, I suppose I've summed up my simple belief that we will again see those dear to us, who have "gone before"...
Blessing to all....!
XOsLaurie
PS....I won't have time to comment back....I appreciate your kind words indeed, but what would give me more pleasure would be if you stop in an have a listen and look at one of Ed's splendid vids ....and drop your kind words there...;-) He was in THIS place, a humble, kind, and very talented being:-)

  • Hi LaurieLee, Ed's partner here. This is amazing. I hope its true. I so want it to be.

    xx

  • @EdMuirton to tell the truth, my simplistic view and hope that we WILL someday, is like energy to "go the distance" HERE.....I feel my loved ones who have "gone before" often, as I'm sure you do Geoff. The present family, friends, too.... I try to fine tune the sometimes fleeting thought....when a friend here or departed crosses my thinking, it might be more than a thought:-)time to share love, a prayer, plant a tree,..etc. just the thoughts are comfort..hugs G, you and yours

  • A heartful song, LaurieLee, but a sad reason.

  • @talesandtunes THankyou Michael, ...you are right---there is no escaping the sadness of one's passing at a young age, or accidentally....older age is expected, a natural course of life. Someday they will know answers to mystery illnesses better than they do now...:-) at least I hope so.

  • Thanks for posting a most amazing and inspirational song. The bitter-sweet speaks to me more than I can explain, and I'm left feeling hopeful. This song celebrates a love of life and a love for those who we meet along the way. A new song to add to my favorites!

  • THe most wonderful song... Very special!

  • Awesome dedication LLC...

I watched and listened to it the other day, and in part is what prompted me to make my own dedication video, I wish I had your writing and singing skills. Great playing also, and I love the video. *PeAcE & love*

  • Without a trace!?

    Dearest, I feel your sorrow.

But gotta tell you that ain't so.

That Cheers! is etched into my brain forever.

    n i ain't the only one.

  • fantastic song laurie you have a whole lot going for you your music is one of a kind

  • @rhopen My comment was perhaps a bit loo light considering why you wrote this song. I tend to react to the performance before I listen to the words, which are strikingly beautiful. Best wishes. -Ron

  • You are right. These words say it well: "I have made death a messenger of joy to thee. Wherefore dost thou grieve?"

So it looks as though an Australian has gone to the bye and bye? I'll check out the channel.
