That's not my point.I am fully aware of the fact that the PRC and the Republic of China, from which you hail, are 2 different nations. However, my Taiwanese and Chinese friends told me that when the term "China" is understood as "中華",it is different than"中國";and in that context,i don't think it is wrong to say that Jeremy is chinese.Because ethnically i believe you are the same; of course with the exceptions of native taiwanese aboriginals. I hope i cleared up any misunderstandings.

umm pretty sure taiwan and china hold different passports. so youre basically saying that people in the US should all be from the UK because they have UK descent? and to prove that I am not bias, I am Taiwanese-American as well. I along with other thousands of Taiwanese Americans see myself as Taiwanese Americans NOT Chinese Americans. We are Chinese ethnically, but we are NOT the same country.
