What a great collection. I would love to get hold of some of these pictures. Can you share where you got them from? I am researching my family history and my Griffiths/Knight family came from Treharris (late 1800's early 1900's). Thanks. Clair

hi there my family come from treharris even tho i now live in lincolnshire,my grand mother was one of 5 and lived on evan street think my great grand father was called tobias thomas? and my great grand mother was rachel, my nan was called margret anne thomas, who went on to marry william grindal they then had two children anne my mother and david, he had garath and chris,my nans 4 sisters were called, irwin,tegwin,mirv,gwinath,sorr­y my welsh spellings are bad,does any one know of my family??

A lovely collection of pictures,where did you get the old ones?do you have any of Bedlinog? There used to be a large selection of old photos in the bedlinog inn( the Tav ),not sure where they are now.
