Saint-Lazare d'Autun

The cathedral of Autun in Burgundy claimed the relics of Lazarus who was raised from the dead by Jesus. The north porch tympanum sculpture depicts the Last Judgment. On one side of Christ is the college of the Apostles. The left side (our right) features the Weighing of Souls by Saint Michael. On the lintel below is the procession of the Damned and the Elect. Adam and Eve, the first human beings to be ejected from Paradise are the first in line to return. Immediately behind them is a figure bearing a scallop shell on his bag - the pilgrim to Santiago de Compostela.
