A Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron fanvid to the tune of "Go K.K. Rider!" from the Super Smash Bros. Brawl soundtrack.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl has, bar none, one of the greatest videogame soundtracks I've ever heard. It probably helps that it draws from so many diverse sources as part of its celebration of all that is Nintendo (plus Metal Gear and Sonic). So I thought to myself, "Self, it'd be cool to make some fanvids to this brilliant soundtrack." It kind of spun out wildly of control once I tried to pick one for Spirit.

This first batch of Brawl-based fanvids I've been working on for a while; they tell the story of the Cimarron Stallion via five fanvids to the tunes of new and old Nintendo music. The two rules I made to myself was that the songs had to be from games I'd played, and that each series could only be used in one fanvid.

I've wanted to make this vid since the Brawl take on "Go K.K. Rider!" was first unveiled on Smash Bros. Dojo. It covers the film's final climatic chase sequence and Spirit's triumphant homecoming.

They do say heroes always arrive late!
