Light Surrounding You

READ THIS FIRST. This is not a Yasmin/Daniel video, nor is a Harry/Petrova video, it is Maps/Petrova, aka a crossover of December Boys and Ballet Shoes.

A year ago, Petrova flew to Australia with Gum where she met an orphan named Maps. She and Maps took a fancy to one another and started dating, but Maps then cheated on her with a local girl named Lucy, leaving Petrova crushed. She flew back to England with Gum and refused to speak to Maps again. (This happens before the vid begins; it's just backstory.)

Now, a year later, Maps has moved to England and has decided to take out a room in Gum's house. Petrova is not pleased because though she still cares for him, she's still very hurt that he betrayed her. Maps feels awful about it (the greyscale clips are him thinking of Lucy and what she did to his and Petrova's relationship) and tries to talk to Petrova, who gets angry and calls him horrible things. Maps gets angry right back and screams at her, which makes Petrova cry.

Several weeks later, Maps apologises to Petrova. Not just for yelling at her, but for everything, and Petrova ignores him. Later that night, Maps spies on her. Petrova sees him and, pretending she hasn't, says out loud, "I do still love Maps... Perhaps I shall give him one more chance." And they're both thrilled over the prospect.

Thank you! I feel that it could have been better (I can't wait till I get the Ballet Shoes DVD so I can have clear clips) but with Sony Vegas shutting down on me every five minutes, I feel I did pretty okay. I may revise this one day...
