@TownPiligan14 , no, you have to use the whole body to get the weight as high as possible, it's just like the regular 2nd pull in the clean (don't emphasize armpull though).
I mean usually ppl use like 90% to 120% of their (non power) clean maximum, so the distance is about what we see here. But if you use like 50kg you should easily be able to touch your pecks with the bar without any assistance from the hands. Sometimes that's called a clean highpull.
This guy isn't that great imo.
