this is a video taken from a mobile phone in a kurdish hospital. the cause of this misshaped child is the effect of chemical weapons (on the parents/grandparents), used by saddam hussein in the late 80's.

I don't think they had mobile phones in Kurdish hospitals in the 1980's and I kind of doubt that someone exposed back then would be still producing deformed little babies nowadays. This strikes me as a tragic neural tube defect. Cynicism aside, my heart goes out to this poor child's parents.
