Not hard to call this one if you look into it just a little bit. Declining circulation and ad revenues is just the tip of the iceberg. Paper as a means of transfering information will be dead in less than 5 years

When is the US going to understand that they have the globes most right winged media? Even the most liberal mainstream media in the US right wing compared to almost anything overseas.

But when you think Fox is "fair & balanced", even though there is nothing on the planet that is more to the right, i guess everything is possible....

We need to kindle the newspapers. Let's end the news-"papers" and begin the news-"kindles."

It's so sad to cut down all those beautiful trees when we don't need to.

A suggestion for those old dinosaurs -- evolve. Electronify. Get rid of the paper; keep the reporters; we need their professional journalistic skills.

And how about some good news for a change? Yahoo can do it; why not the journalistic giants? I enjoy reading Yahoo news; I avoid the newspapers (except for the Dispatch).
