Presenting the official anthem for Transmission 2011 - Digital Madness.
On the Saturday November 19th, inside the vast surround of the Czech capital's O2 Arena, Transmission will once again reign. Long ranked as a world-class trance event, it will bring together clubbers and music lovers from the Czech Republic, Europe and far, far beyond. Providing the anthem absolute for the night and for the third year running, will be one of the world's most accomplished electronic dance music producers... Markus Schulz.
Celebrated for their high-concept events, the theme of this year's Transmission is Digital Madness. On the Global DJ Broadcast World Tour episode from Ibiza in early September, Markus gave his auditory anthem for the event its radio premiere. 'Digital Madness' - the track is a heavy calibre stadium-sized hell-raiser, which dynamically pitch-bends, distorts and cranks the synths inexorably to a titan of a climax.
Digital Madness has gone on to become one of the highlights of Markus' livesets - from his performance for DJ Mag's Top 100 Awards at Passenger Terminal in Amsterdam; to the Escape from Wonderland extravaganza held near to Los Angeles. The track has also received radio support through Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance and Corsten's Countdown with Ferry Corsten.
Historically, Markus' Transmission connections have run deep. He's already recorded anthems for two previous events ('The New World' and last year's 'Future Cities') and having played the last six Transmission years, he's their resident in all but name. So taken was he by the city (and his on and off the decks experiences there) that in February of this year Markus' based his annual city mix comp in Prague.

Come November 19th, 'Digital Madness' the track will resound around the 15,000-capacity 02 stadia, musically capturing and defining the visually and sonically spectacle that is Digital Madness.
Prague: prepare to receive your incoming Transmission.

  • lol people need to realise that artists can produce what ever the f*#k they want. If they produced the same stuff all the time it, and they, would get bored of it (and so would the fans) Too many haters and people saying "oh I want him to produce this or play that"

Too many critics in EDM. Maybe you should produce something better yourself and stop criticising awesome producers just because they try something different and arent producing stuff that YOU like. Its IMPOSSIBLE to please everyone.

  • people change, and once they change they will be not the same
