I'm far more productive in Visual Studio thanks to its supperb IDE, debugging tools, refactoring, excellent documentation and a vast community to help you in case I need questions. Delphi was a good product back then but it's not the RAD tool of choice anymore. There are better products out there that are cheaper or even free.

Well I don't know what other folks think but I don't belive one word this guy is saying and he doesn't he dances while he reads the script dang...,
25%-33% productivity gain? wtf! that's your target, related to what?
It's true that the abbreviation RAD came with Delphi Delphi language but come on, the lack of documentation is killing the beginner programmer and the fact that the price is so freaking high a lot of companies have to stick with older versions of Delphi.
