I installed one of these in my house and was actually disappointed that it did not seem loud enough. Looking at replacing it with the 747 or 748.

i also tested a Moose siren(it was the same one at my mom's house, except for the fact it was just a Moose speaker with an ADEMCO 747 UL 2-tone siren driver. the 747 UL has the same EXACT tones as this siren does) on code 3, and it nearly made my ears bleed!(at a whopping 145db at 10ft!)

it DOES. i've borrowed a friend's WAVE 2, got a 12VDC-24VDC transformer, wired it to my MS-2, and it sounded SIIIICK!!!!!

My ATW is 120 db @ 10 not only does it scare the intruder but now he/she is deaf lol
