SHOTOKAN KARATE OF AMERICA HOSTS 53nd ANNUAL NISEI WEEK
KARATE EXHIBITION AND TOURNAMENT

On Saturday, August 15, 2009, Shotokan Karate of America (SKA) will be hosting its 53rd Annual Nisei Week Karate Exhibition and Tournament at the Braun Gymnasium of the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). This Tournament is one of the highlights of the Nisei Week Japanese Festival in Los Angeles and is the oldest karate demonstration in the United States. Fighters and participants from around the world will be coming to Los Angeles to compete and give individual and group demonstrations.
The 53rd Annual Nisei Week Karate Exhibition and Tournament will be held on Saturday August 15, from 11 am to 1:30 pm. at the Braun Gymnasium of Caltech located at 1200 East California Boulevard in Pasadena, California. The public is welcome to attend. Admission and parking are free. The doors will open at 10:45 am.
