Though it might sound strange, that's exactly what Pinnacle has done with their PVT. This diminutive device lets you record any S-Video or composite analog source and encode it, on-the-fly, to a USB flash drive, hard drive, iPod, PSP or any other standard USB-enabled media storage device.

The PVT saves in H.264, so it will create a file that can be used on all new Apple products. Though I'm not sure if the classic is compatible.

For some reason when i plug this into my my computer with a usb it sais it is unknown.Any suggestions.

I would suggest that you first download and install the drivers for the USB-710 device from the Pinnacle web site. Then plug in the Pinnacle.

Yes, plus movies you have that never made dvd or out of print can be transfered from tv or vcr. I like it because its small.i know it can record games but How is Customer Service for the product?

I need your help please?

when I record with my pinnacle PVT for the first 12 hours of recording the audio of the file is good but after 12 hours of recording the audio goes bad and out of sync I use a 16 GB flash drive I record for 24 hours with best quality it automatically makes another file to record after 5 hours and 50 minutes so the two first files are good but after the 2nd file the audio goes bad and also out of sync. Do you know how to fix this problem?
