Nuke the place, it's a dirty stinking grey ugly hole. Quite a lot of large towns and cities are like that as other people have said, however you can normally find some sort of character from the people etc. In Merthyr you find a shit load of "stupid". You can see it was very much a place of industrialised Britain. A place of the "worker" etc, however those times have long gone. The people haven't though. I think it's had a real bum deal from the government in terms of investment and attention.

its true!!! What it is with people is that theres been so many bands, muscians from bloody england and america and so on and wales has no real follow up in fame by that i mean is that there so many people who want to be sucessful in music ,such as myself but theres a brick wall in front of you and anyone else in wales because people think " are the welsh have nothing,sheep shaggers" lol but true im only a kid myself but in the valleys its like being in a goldfish bowl

people have always said Merthyr as no work bt what people realis is that this isnt the 80s anymore where all you had was hoovers to work if you had no gcse's or skills look at all the work here now buisneses everywhere the only reason why unemployment is so high is because 85% of Merthyr is council estates where lets face it people just dont want to work full stop! when you ask them all why your not working they say "recession see Butt no jobs innit you know like mun credit crunch" lazy scum
