Jiffy Lube Breaks My Engine

I went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change and they forgot to put oil after they drained my engine causing permanent damage.

That poor vortec...The best V6 chevy ever designed up until the late 2000s.IMO.(Other than the 3.8L)

Other than its inability to keep a water pump or fuel pump alive...It's hard to kill a vortec. Lack of oil was its achilles heel...

it took some life out of the motor,get them to say it in writing that if the motor fails prematurely they will replace it or repair it.Do it !!!!!!!!!

Reason they changed it the second time was so you couldn't show someone shavings in your oil and get them for it...

when the car first died, first call would have been a tow truck to a REAL mechanic, second call to a lawyer to make jiffy lube pay for a new motor

i wouldnt let them rechange your oil, i woulda left it. proved the point that they didnt re-add oil the first time, and make them replace the motor
