hmmm why would you go up and down continuously - think about the guests..

I went up and down once on 2 seperate occasions (they were filmed 2 days apart), whilst I was a guest here. Hardly continuously. It was also mid afternoon both times, when people are less likely to be sleeping.

They really need to replace those outside buttons with emvbosed ones they aren't gopod at alkl for clarity.

I agree, they were really worn. On upper floors, the call buttons all had just an up arrow on them. As they have the new buttons installed inside the lift i'm suprised they didn't put new call buttons in as well. The original buttons are even worse, you can barely make out what most of them are for. Some of them require multiple presses to make them work.

The premier Inn near QE2 bridge east London has a solenoid door bell (a proper old style DING - DONG, it's not electronic speaker). I am due back there sometime, so I will film it.
