@1hopefulpessimist In his will, Mercury left his London home to Austin, rather than his then partner Jim Hutton, saying "you would have been my wife and it would have been yours anyway" Freddie did indeed wrote several songs about Austin, the most notable of which is "Love of My Life".

Freddie Mercury wasnt just a singer. He was a philosopher thru his music his songs grew hope just listen: Who wants to live forever? There must be more to life than this? Whats more inspirational than that?
