The Legend of Tata - 15 - Ready for Thailand

From several countries of Southeast Asia. Thailand was selected as new production facility for Tata vehicles. Tata also expected this new plant to be second large to India. Because Thailand have high potential of economics, well-prepared infrastructure, many useful labors to become employees. And of course, high-discerning in Automotive Industry. We're still step closer and closer to be Detroit of Asia. This opportunity somehow also spread wings for more for Thailand to get more chance at success.
This episode we can see some sneak in Tata's plant in Thailand. Vehicle in assembling processes is now the Xenon pickups of course. You might say you have seen the Extended cab for the first time. Because Xenon for Thailand will available in 3 cabstyles of course.
Tata expanded to Thailand by associated with Thonburi group (Thailand's No.1 assembly plant of Mercedes-Benz automobiles) and established Tata Thonburi JV. To produce Xenon pickups (and also possibly with small bus or light CV), both for domestic and export worldwide. And of course, Thailand will be major plant with purpose as I said earlier.
The plant located away 15 kilometres from Suvarnabhumi International Airport and away 80 kilometres from Laem Chabang seaport.
Last footages before end was from Thailand International Motor Expo 2007. In fact, Tata have a booth there and I filmed that too. You know what? That's only a theory booth with at least Xenon's door part. People gathered there to join activities as provided.
