RTL JENSEN • 2007

  • the germans conquered us not because of the blitzkrieg technick but because of the blackmail. they burned rotterdam and threatened to burn down al our great cities! facking weaklings they were! it's an insolence to defeat a country on such a way. if you have payed a little atention in your history education you would know that. and of course we were suprised. signing a contract of peace and then attack, that so facking childish and weak. the whole third reich was an insolence and pathetic!

The British, at the time, spread horrible propaganda about Napoleon. They made him look similar to what the current propaganda about Hitler is like. And guess what, if 100 years ago I said something good about Napoleon, I would be looked at like a bigot. Only in our era do we look at Napoleon as a hero.

Napoleon had burned towns who opposed him, and he held a grip on all of Europe forcing people to follow his policies. That is a form of terrorism which America does today.

  • @havee3333333 Napoleon however did not. Hitler was a terrible person that ruled europe with an extremely oppressive and cruel regime. He openly tried to eradicate an entire people! Napoleon didn't do all those things. Because napoleon was just a conqueror who empower his own nation and gain power by it. Hitler however wanted to force his regime upon the world. Nations are not pieces of land, they are people. Through victory can only be achieved by winning the harts and minds of the people.

  • @havee3333333 Not quite. Napoleon did not have weapons of mass destruction at his disposal. And I'm not talking about nuclear weapons, I am talking about machine guns and hordes of planes that drop bombs (which took more lifes than nukes at this point). As for a game about hitler: I understand your point. the problem with a game about hitler is that the wounds of WWII are still too fresh. And Hitler was, in the eyes of many, a monster. He was commited genocide and numerous atrocidies.

Napoleon used same tactics, yet he is a hero.

Imagine if someone tried to create a game about Hitler, such as Total War and Europa 3 have done for Napoleon. A well educated person would say, "What's that difference?"

  • [Hitler]"I'd rather go to Madurodam (a dutch miniature city tourist attraction) then that fucking zoo! Or, to Drievliet! (another lame Dutch tourist attraction/amusement park)." [German 4(Goebbels)"Ok, so why don't we just go to Drievliet then? (discouraging sounds from bystanders) Could be quite fun you know..." [Hitler]"What about miniature golf... how do you all feel about that? (people leave)".

  • (cont) bowling last year, we want something different this time. (awknowledging sounds from the bystanders)" [Hitler]"I want to go bowling! We're going fucking bowling!" [German 3]"Yeah but yesterday a baby seal was born, for your information!" [Hitler]"I fucking hate seals! Fucking animals!" [German 3]"That is not true! seals happen to be very cool animals!" (tbc)
