Gears of War 2 - Requiem for a Dream

So, this afternoon I had the bright idea to put some Gears of War scenes to Requiem for a Dream by Lux Aeterna. Now, while I'm uploading this video, it's come to my attention that apparently I wasn't the only one with such inspiration! LOL.

Apparently, Youtube is packed with GoW/Requiem-mixes which doesn't really make my work very original. However, it seems most of the people have just put the song to the video (at least the ones I took a quick glance at just now).

At least I took the effort into synchronising & cutting almost all the shots to the music, which makes it KINDA special ;)

Oh, that and the fact it begins and ends with the New GoW2 Trailer.

Wow, i love this video, song goes great with the clips, and you get nice clips, but the one thing that pisses me off is when people make a video with this song in it, and they think they can make a video as good as yours, but they fail, this is a good example of what the song should be used for, also, Gears of War=epic.

this song goes so well along with gears that sometimes i play it while i play gears 2 on live while muted... listen to this song and it gives you a heightened sense of playing the game.... this works as well with the song O Fortuna

@Jovac7 ur half right. the song was originally composed by Clint Mansell, under the title Lux Aeterna, then after being an instrumental and iconic piece in the MOVIE requiem for a dream, it has been referred to as requiem for a dream. Lux aeterna is the NAME, not the ARTIST; and Requiem for a dream is a misnomer, it just happens 2 be the one that stuck, the public preferred it over the original latin title.
