daisy gets given benjamins diary when she responds to the call telling her they had found a boy in a building and he seems to have dementia. they knew to call her because her name was in his diary alot and so she kept it.

I loved this movie so much.
It's my favorite movie of ALL time.
There's so much sentimental meaning and underlying messages. It just makes me cry.
They truly loved each other.
To me, this movie pushed slumdog millionaire to the side.
