hi, my 17' pc monitor just crashed and till i'll get a new one i use a 15' monitor and the problem is that i can't play any games. For example i enter a game, i can see the menu but after i select new game from the menu or load a saved game i cand't see anything (only speedometer for racing games). I used to play Rohan BF till the monitor crashed, and now when i start the game i see only a black screen. Anyone knows what can i do to make the games work properly?

If i choose screen resolution 800 by 600 pixels and color quality 16 bit would it help my game frame rate faster?

how much better does it make the game look depending on the resolution?? because i have a 17 inch screen and will it make a big difference in terms of graphics if i go to a 24 or 26 inch screen?

well on my sceen it makes it about 40-60% better.

I think you might need a HDMI to DVI cable. Tell me if I'm wrong because I have the a Samsung Syncmaster 216BW and I don't know what cables I should get for only 20 dolors.

no.you need a VGA cable.that is hdmi.computer lcd moniters are better quality than hdtv's
