Iran military tests raise tension in Persian Gulf

http://www.euronews.net/ Iran's senior navy commander is denying media reports that the country test-fired long-range missiles during a drill in Saturday in the Persian Gulf.
Mahmoud Mousavi told Iran's English language Press TV that the missiles will be launched in the coming days.
Earlier the semi-official Fars news agency had reported that the weapons had already been launched.
The military activity is being closely observed by Washington.

Where is is Iran going to test its military equipment other than in its own gulf.
It's the US presence that causes tension. Not the presence of the people who live there.

i think that it is the US and EU who are raising the tensions by threatening Iran with
1) War,
2) Further Sanctions and
3) Isolation.
Although my believes are anti thetical to those of the Iranian regime and hope it is brought to its knees I sincerely believe that the regime is rightly acting in self defense.
Meanwhile I am disgusted by the media who always seem to portray facts in a manner to protect the integrity of our governments instead of plainly stating facts.
