Four trains are seen passing through wyomissing junction on june 18, 2010, two with freight consists several miles long. Also included are a local with a conrail working hard and an intermodal not usually seen.
Hotshot intermodal train 21M is first, with a trio of dash 9s roaring along pulling a monster 2-mile train that includes both domestic and ocean-going containers and trailers.

Third, train 11J heads west with a 2-mile string of auto racks, 108 cars. Not only are the 2 GE locos up front working hard to keep the train moving, but the engineer also gave the "photo line" consisting of me, erik (ns927), and alvin (alvintrain) a couple toots of the amazing RS3L horn on the ex-conrail dash 8.

Sweet video! Love the RS3L action, 5296, and 8335. Such a shame 8335's in horsehead now...Thumbs up and a favorite. I might be coming up to Wyomissing sometime during the summer.
