I think it was because of the way the setanta committee worked stuff out that it was the turn of an LOI club to host the final considering Linfield were at home last year and so on. Drogheda vs. City was the only one held at a neutral venue iirc.

Oh so gracious in defeat. Yet, you don't mention the trouble caused by Glens supporters in Turners Cross Tavern and other areas around the ground, throwing objects at our players throughout the game and trouble in town afterwards. I'm not trying to paint all Glentoran supporters with the same brush, because like all clubs there is scum element including our own and the majority of your supporters were sound and gracious. Also you honestly think Stokes was working in our favour?! No way in hell!
