try a product called Inflamaway
works great. My friends horse is 29 or 30 and is on it and he can still ride his mare, he only rides her in good soft footing cause she gets ouchy on hard ground.But beofre he tried this product he couldn't ride her. I feel for ya and I'll keep my fingers crossed :>)

great job! There are so many misconceptions about equine arthritis and you are very sensitive and smart to keep using your horse, but in a way that is fair to him. keep up the good work!!

@katherine810 yeah but my pony has it mild. we have some medicine that mixs into his food and it can gallop all he wants. (which he does) Yeah hes happier now that we got that new medicine

but im sixteen with arthritis and no you can't cure it, but i'd rather be living in pain than being put down anyday and there are things you can do to help. It's a difficult one though, it's probablly the most kind thing to do for a horse :) x

Think how the horse feels though, you might be stressed out by them having thier bad days but imagine how bad they feel not being able to jump or canter some days.

Yeah I just want people to understand that my Pony and other horses can't do things you expect them to do with arthritis.

Yeah I know,I have a old horse with arthritis and its very hard to not feel stressed out by how they have their bad days
