Sorry for the late reply!!! LOL. You would do the same with chains just go into your chains and add loops. Then take em off. Then u will have bars.

THanks

To stop the ends from curling do two rows of the purl stitch in the beginning (how-to videos for that are here on youtube). Carry on throughout the piece in basic stitch and then do 2 more rows of purl stitch to finish it.

You don't show how to get the "vertical bars" in the first place. Did part of this get edited out??

Whenever I do the tunisian stitch, the ends of mine curl up, is it either that I am holding to tight and pulling to tight or maybe the size of me needle?

Thank you so much for this video! I know for a fact that I would have never been able to do tunisian crochet with out your AWESOME videos. Really, you make it so easy to follow along and gave me a non-fustrating way to learn this very nice stich!

Thanks for making your videos for us. I've always wondered how tunisian crochet is done - but I couldn't understand written directions only. Your videos make it look much easier than books do! I"ve always loved the look of some of the plainer tunisian stitches and I'd love to do them. Now maybe I can be a beginner regular crocheter and tunisian crocheter too. Thank you! I'll check out all your videos very soon. :)
